About us

- Martin Busch & Sohn (MBS) is a family-run company, situated
in the Ruhr district. It was founded in 1903 and operates in the sector
of vessel and apparatus engineering. We are specialized in producing
heat exchangers, agitators, vessels and special constructions as well
as the repair of apparatuses. Since 2001 we have also been producing
conveying equipment, for example wet delaggers and coal distributor
plants predominantly for thermal treatment plants.
We process various different stainless steels, heat-resistant steels,
special alloys, non-ferrous metals and, besides the usual structural
steels, also fine-grained steels and plated steel.
The entire manufacturing process of the company Martin Busch &
Sohn is subject to a continuous quality control in accordance with
national and international codes. Individual specifications concerning
the quality control are implemented accordingly in our company. Acceptance
and control regulations of national and international authorities,
in addition to our own certifying rights, form part of the MBS quality
assurance.
We build vessels and apparatuses up to a unit weight of 30t according
to our own calculations, design and constructions as well as submitted
constructions. You will be well looked after by a team of specialists
from the beginning of your project, through the vital problem analysis
stage, right through to the complete realization of your project
and that on your own premises!

History (basic data)
- 1903 Martin Busch & Söhne is founded by Martin Busch as
a heating and installation business in Oberhausen.
- 1932 The son, Heinrich Busch, finishes his studies of cooling and
air condition technology and becomes an employee of the company. After
Heinrich Busch joins the company, the specialization on vessel and
apparatus engineering commences.

- 1972 Move of premises from Oberhausen to Schermbeck into todays
production plants.
- 1973 The third generation of the family-run company, the current
Managing Director, Martin G. Busch joins the company.
- 1989 Change of the legal form: from now on it is Martin Busch &
Sohn GmbH, Managing Director: Martin G. Busch
- 2001 The product range is extended by the production of conveying
equipment.
- 2003 Extension of the premises and thus the production capacities.
- 2004 The fourth generation, Markus Busch joins the company.
